Designed very well. The overall scale of her is imposing- throw in the main cannons and you have a ship that can decimate a fleet, conquer a world, and fly away without a scratch on its hull. Shape is very ultra modern and able to support the weapons systems without looking awkward or bulky. By the profile itself it seems almost aerodynamic. Minor criticisms- the top fin above the Bridge seems added on, and I see no visible purpose to it; perhaps add a smaller ship to this photo to provide a sense of scale. Still a magnificent display of elegance and power.

I really love the hull design on this dread. With my favorite part being the cannons that lift up out of the hull. I also really love the engine design on this one compared to all others.

Oh I don't doubt it. I never realized how many great hull designs you have. I was going through all your work looking for inspiration and stumbled across this piece.

holly hell man great job. I have to ask tho is this ship overpowered compaird to everyone one. Especially in a squardrosn of five and at 7.5 kilameters else I mean I would just surrender when I see theis ships in orbit.

I measured this out to about 6-7 kilometers long, and about 1 kilometer in height. How fast is it?

She's 7.5km long and she can pick up a top speed of around 5,500km/min. She's much faster than the equivalent Alliance ships given that much of her hull and power can be devoted to propulsion thanks to a unique system of propulsion and her huge power plants.

Nice. Looks like there could be a forward cannon located on the front.

So as I understand it so far, this ship runs in packs of five. Are there support ships along with it? And, dare I ask, how many packs are there?

This is definatnly the Flagship of the Federation o_o...

With only 6 deck Guns, 3 top side, 3 belly and possibly a nearly invinciable self defense array...How on earth could a ship take something this large down XD

The part where things really get horrifying is when you realize she operates in squadrons of five.

Not when nations have equally large warships to face off against them. Superdreadnoughts are huge no doubt, but they are not the end-all-be all of space. Even these gods have their demons.

zooming in and viewing the recess with viewports really helps convey the staggering size of the top-of-the-line warship. I like the small colored lights on the smaller turrets. As someone else mentioned, I would love to see other orthographic views of the ship.

772 meters long energy cannon turrets , I would only say , Y E S ! It kind a makes me think that when size still, does , matter . It only serves one purpose , and that is ... just to get all the wild funds of money , resources , men power alien power slave power to pour into this kind of majestic mega battle cruiser just for the sheer looks of her . Another terms just to satisfy those a few power hungry top commanders . Cause I strongly do believe , with the fraction of the money and men power with sizes ,a lot smaller you can achieve more powerful battle cruisers .

Love the scale ref with the A380. So.... guns the size of about, what, 30, 40, 50 A380s? Yeah, sounds about right :-D Would love to see a video of a small ship (say, Star Trek shuttle class) tootling alongside the hull of this thing, just to get a sense of the massive scale.

Jesus, that's big!
Main gun looks like it could cause an extinction-level event if used against a surface, the main batteries look like they could tear smaller battleships to shreds and the secundaries look formidable, too.
Looks like it'd take at least three... no, FIVE of my battlegroups to even challenge this thing!

Great work!

I guess these retractable platforms behind each tuerret set have something to do with turret control.
On the other hand I would soo like to see a top view, even if it is just a rough sketch.

You know, one question I've had on these monsters: On a ship this heavily armed and armored, is there any sense in having the main guns retract? Seems like it would take a lot of space/mechanicals that could be better utilized and would also be a potential weak spot in battle. Those batteries appear to be about 1/9th the length of the ship, even with the tech involved, that's a lot of mass to have to retract back into the ship. And given that they are designed to be in a raised position when fired, I would assume that they are heavily armored as well. So...reason for the retraction? (Assuming something to do with the streamlining of the technobable technobable space field during technobable technobable drive :) )

Otherwise....WOW!!! Nice work. The detail is wonderful and the thought you've put into your universe is great. Love these monsters and look forward to more!

The only thing wrong with this ship, is that it is too big for the nation i'm envisioning to support. otherwise beautiful. On a side note, I take the point defense guns are coming at a later date?

Well the secondary guns are there....so are the counter missiles? I'm failing to catch on to what point defense guns you think are missing? The lasers? They are there as well smaller though.

on alliance ships I thought i saw very small point defense particle guns. on the king robert I don't really see the small guns that do that.

The alliance had no point defense particle guns....>.>

Point defense against missiles and fighters are handled by lasers and point defense against anything bigger is handled by flak charges used on the secondary guns.

The Superdreadnaught. As much firepower and armor that can be conceivably crammed into a mobile platform. If it were any bigger, it'd be a space station.
